Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive programming and visualization of PLC control systems for a variety of specialized production facilities, including packaging, textiles, logistics, and chemical industry plants. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for both the initial programming of new systems and the modernization (retrofit) of existing machinery. A significant portion of the role involves the commissioning of these systems across Germany, Europe, and globally. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering, State-certified Technician, or Master Craftsman (Meister) qualification in a relevant technical field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position within automation or machinery construction
  • Proven experience in programming PLC systems and creating visualization interfaces
  • Practical experience in commissioning industrial plants on a national or international level
  • Experience in modernization and retrofitting of legacy industrial systems
