Job Summary
This role involves the design, programming, and implementation of PLC systems for specialized machinery and plant engineering projects. As a PLC Programmer, you will work on both the automation of new systems and the modernization (retrofit) of existing ones. Your daily responsibilities include creating visualizations, performing troubleshooting, and handling worldwide commissioning of industrial plants. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy variety, as it spans multiple locations in North Rhine-Westphalia and involves international travel. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics; alternatively, a certified Technician (Techniker) qualification with a relevant focus.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in automation within plant engineering
- Professional experience in project planning and PLC programming
- Experience in planning and implementing industrial visualizations
- Experience in worldwide commissioning and on-site troubleshooting

Additional
- Willingness to travel worldwide (up to 30%). Positions available across multiple locations including Düsseldorf, Aachen, Bocholt, Bochum, Dortmund, Duisburg, Essen, Köln, Krefeld, Lüdenscheid, Mönchengladbach, Münster, and Wuppertal.
