As a Principal Agentic AI Engineer and Architect at SAP's AI Center of Excellence, you will lead the technical vision and execution of enterprise-grade autonomous AI solutions. You will serve as the technical artifact owner, overseeing multiple development streams and guiding engineering scrum teams from initial Data Science proofs-of-concept to full-scale production operations. Your daily work involves designing foundational software architectures, developing complex Big Data pipelines, and implementing advanced Agentic AI frameworks. This role is unique for its focus on 'Agentic' technologies—incorporating communication protocols like MCP and A2A—while requiring a blend of high-level solution design and hands-on coding. You will be responsible for establishing best-practice frameworks for Generative AI and MLOps across the organization, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring that AI services are scalable, secure, and integrated into the broader SAP ecosystem.
