Job Summary

As a PLM Process and Application Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the stable, secure, and high-performance operation of Product Lifecycle Management systems. Your day-to-day activities include managing incident, problem, and change processes (2nd/3rd level support), overseeing system availability, and performing regular releases, patches, and upgrades. You will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, managing user permissions, system documentation, and license costs. A significant part of the role involves integrating PLM systems into the broader IT landscape, including CAD, ERP, and MES environments, to ensure seamless end-to-end data flows. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead or participate in high-impact PLM projects, such as migrations and rollouts, while collaborating closely with IT architecture teams to optimize business processes. It is an ideal role for a technical professional who enjoys a mix of system administration, process modeling, and strategic project management within a modern industrial IT environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Business) Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in PLM consulting, PLM administration, or application support
  • Experience with 3D Experience or comparable PLM tools
  • Proven experience in project management using classical or agile methodologies
  • Deep understanding of product lifecycle processes including design, data management, and configuration management
  • Experience in planning and executing system, integration, and acceptance tests
