As an IT Onsite Support Engineer in Nuremberg, you will join a dynamic team providing essential infrastructure and service management solutions, primarily for European pharmaceutical clients. Your daily responsibilities include performing first-level hardware and software troubleshooting using a knowledge base, managing incoming customer inquiries via ServiceNow, and providing direct user support for end-user devices and applications. You will be responsible for classifying technical issues, resolving them independently when possible, or escalating recurring problems to specialized departments. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of telephone-based support and direct onsite interaction. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Customer Support, IT Systems Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification).

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT Support or Service Desk environments
  • Experience in hardware and software error analysis and rectification
  • Practical experience using IT ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
  • Demonstrated technical and organizational competence in a professional setting
