The successful candidate will conduct cutting-edge research at the intersection of proteostasis and genome stability, focusing on the 'ubiquitin code' and its role in mitochondrial protein import. Day-to-day activities involve utilizing a proteomics-based method called 'LinkageID' to identify novel ubiquitin targets and performing biochemical, cell, and molecular biological analyses in mammalian cell cultures and budding yeast. Required Skills
