Job Summary

As a Maintenance Manager for rail vehicles, you will play a pivotal role in managing maintenance contracts and providing expert technical guidance to both leadership and staff. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating with external service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure maintenance measures are executed according to specifications. You will be responsible for evaluating technical documentation such as work instructions and checklists, as well as representing the company's interests during contract negotiations. A significant part of the role involves technical analysis, resource planning for personnel and materials, and the optimization of maintenance processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a stable, long-term environment with a focus on urban mobility and infrastructure. The role is available in both part-time and full-time capacities (30-37.5 hours per week), offering flexibility alongside a professional and structured working environment.

Required Skills

Education

Technical education at high school graduation level (e.g., HTL/HTBLA in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar) or a completed university degree in these fields.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance, project management, or order planning and control
  • Professional experience within a maintenance, repair, or manufacturing operation
  • Experience in coordinating with external service providers and internal stakeholders
  • Proven ability in technical analysis and resource capacity estimation
