Job Summary

In this role, you will serve as a dedicated Apprentice Trainer, focusing on mentoring and educating apprentices in Information Technology, specifically during their first and second years. Your daily responsibilities include designing and adapting training programs, creating educational content, and defining learning objectives. You will lead both theoretical and practical instruction, ensuring a high-quality learning environment while maintaining essential documentation and managing technical equipment. Beyond the classroom, you will act as a bridge between the company, vocational schools, and parents, participating in team-building activities and contributing to strategic projects aimed at shaping the future of vocational training. This position is ideal for a communicative professional with strong social skills who is passionate about transferring knowledge to young adults and fostering a motivating atmosphere within a major urban infrastructure provider.

Required Skills

Education

Completed apprenticeship in Information Technology or similar; HTL-Matura (Higher Technical Institute Diploma) is an advantage; Master Craftsman (Meister) qualification in Information Technology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Information Technology or a related technical field
  • Experience in knowledge transfer or teaching young adults
  • Possession of a trainer certification (Ausbildungsberechtigung) or willingness to obtain it within 6 months
  • Experience in project work and independent task management
