Job Summary

As a Commissioning Engineer for MRI systems at Siemens Healthineers, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare by ensuring the operational readiness of advanced medical imaging technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the pan-European and occasional worldwide commissioning and upgrading of MRI systems. This includes conducting rigorous hardware checks on magnets, gradient systems, and cooling units, as well as testing control and imaging software interfaces with IT systems like PACS and RIS. You will be responsible for performing safety inspections according to legal standards and conducting quality tests to ensure superior image quality. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable electronic focus. Advanced qualifications such as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician are highly preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience in commissioning, maintenance, or service of complex technical systems, ideally in medical technology or imaging.
  • Experience in hardware testing of magnets, gradient systems, RF coils, and cooling systems.
  • Proven experience in error analysis, troubleshooting, and coordinating technical projects independently.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining detailed testing and validation protocols.
