Job Summary

As a State-Certified Electrical Power Supply Technician at Siemens Mobility, you will play a critical role in the commissioning of traction power substations across Germany, with a primary focus on the NRW, Lower Saxony, and Hesse regions. Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing final assembly, integrating systems, performing functional tests, and optimizing initial operations. You will be responsible for parameterization, conducting technical acceptances, and providing training to clients. Beyond commissioning, you will assess technical conditions, perform maintenance under service contracts, and independently troubleshoot faults. This role is ideal for proactive professionals who enjoy a mix of technical field work and stakeholder management. You will act as a key interface between project management, customers, and partners to ensure project deadlines and technical standards are met, all while contributing to sustainable, carbon-neutral mobility solutions.

Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician (Staatl. geprüfter Techniker) or Master Craftsman (Meister) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable electrical specialization.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in electrical power supply or energy transmission
  • Practical experience in commissioning/startup of electrical systems is preferred
  • Experience in parameterization and functional testing of electrical plants
  • Professional experience in maintenance and fault rectification
  • Experience in creating technical reports and measurement protocols
