This role is central to the modernization of the Frankenthal city administration, focusing on the implementation and continuous development of the Document Management System (DMS) and electronic filing (E-Akte). As a Digitalization Expert, you will act as a key liaison between technical departments, IT, and the digitalization unit. Your daily tasks involve analyzing and visualizing administrative processes, identifying potential for digital transformation, and modeling digital workflows and online forms. You will be responsible for supporting colleagues in using digital tools, managing file structures, and defining retention periods. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Public Management, Business Informatics, Information Management, Business Administration, or a comparable field; or completion of the 'Angestelltenprüfung II' qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in digitalization, IT, or organizational development projects
  • Practical experience with Document Management Systems (DMS) or electronic filing systems
  • Experience in modeling electronic workflows or online forms
  • Experience in process management and administrative structures is preferred
  • Experience in coordinating sub-projects and acting as a technical interface
