Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position within the City of Hof's Department for Economic Development, City Marketing, and Tourism involves acting as a central point of contact for the local business community. You will be responsible for supporting established companies across various sectors—including trade, industry, and services—while actively facilitating new business settlements. Key tasks include managing a real estate register for commercial properties, advising on investment and financing issues, and fostering networks between businesses, research institutes, and political bodies. The role is highly collaborative, requiring you to organize economic events, conduct public relations, and analyze economic statistics to drive regional development. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master/Diploma) in Regional Management, Public Management, Economics, Business Geography, or City and Regional Development.
Experience
- Long-term experience in project management and the development of regional and national networks
- Relevant professional experience in the field of economic development or a comparable functional area
- Proven experience in evaluating economic indicators and statistics
- Experience in managing business settlements and corporate relations

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Deep knowledge of the Hof economic region is expected.
