Job Summary
As an IT Product Manager and Product Owner at INTER Versicherungsgruppe, you will join a specialized five-person team in Mannheim dedicated to the strategic development of life insurance products. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing the entire product lifecycle, from initial conceptualization and roadmap planning to final rollout. You will act as a vital bridge between business departments, IT teams, and external service providers, ensuring that digital transformation projects and process optimizations deliver genuine value to users. This role is highly collaborative and agile, requiring you to analyze market trends and prepare strategic decision-making materials for management. The position is particularly attractive due to its high degree of flexibility, offering up to four days of remote work per week, a 38-hour work week, and a family-like corporate culture within a stable insurance group.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Proven professional experience in product management, preferably within the insurance industry
- Experience in the conception and development of IT products for life insurance
- Experience in project management and coordinating digitalization initiatives
- Experience in interface management between business units and IT departments
- Knowledge of life insurance systems and IT architectures
