Job Summary

As a Supplier Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing the international supply chain for a key automotive client. Your daily responsibilities will involve developing, qualifying, and evaluating international suppliers, as well as negotiating quality assurance agreements with specific ppm targets. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of process and product audits, from planning to the verification of corrective actions. A significant portion of the role focuses on identifying optimization potentials, conducting risk and capacity analyses, and implementing cost-reduction measures. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university degree (Engineering or related field). Qualification as an external auditor according to IATF 16949 is required.

Experience

  • Professional experience in supplier development and international supplier management
  • Extensive experience with automotive quality management methods and standards
  • Proven track record in conducting external audits according to IATF 16949
  • Experience in negotiating quality assurance agreements and monitoring ppm targets
  • Background in identifying and implementing supplier development and cost-reduction programs
