Job Summary
As an IT Security Specialist at Jus-IT, the service provider for the Bavarian judiciary, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and evolving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Your daily responsibilities include developing security guidelines and BSI-compliant concepts for judicial infrastructure and specialized legal procedures. You will act as a key advisor to management and technical departments, ensuring that IT security processes remain state-of-the-art while organizing audits and accompanying penetration tests. This position is particularly attractive as it offers the chance to secure the digital transformation of the Bavarian justice system—moving from paper to electronic records. While initially a one-year fixed-term contract, there is a 100% chance of permanent employment for high performers, with potential for future civil servant status. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field with an IT security focus. Relevant IT security certifications are preferred.
Experience
- Professional or project experience in information technology and information security
- Experience in developing security concepts and guidelines according to BSI standards
- Several years of professional experience in IT security required if the degree is in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience in advising management and technical departments on security matters
- Experience in organizing audits and supporting penetration tests
