Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer and Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming technological visions into reality by developing and implementing comprehensive control software. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve clarifying and implementing interfaces for material flow computers, designing operator panels (HMI) in collaboration with mechanical and electrical teams, and configuring automation components within the TIA Portal. A significant portion of this role involves hands-on testing and commissioning of machinery and systems both at the factory and on-site at customer locations. You will also be responsible for overseeing system ramp-ups, conducting performance tests, and providing essential training to customer personnel. This position is particularly attractive for those who enjoy a mix of software development and field engineering, offering a permanent contract with a 35-hour work week and the opportunity to work on diverse industrial projects across Germany and Europe.
