Job Summary
As a UI Prototyping Developer at FERCHAU, you will be at the forefront of automotive innovation, bridging the gap between design and technology. Your primary responsibility will involve developing interactive UI prototypes for infotainment systems and digital product environments, specifically for major automotive OEMs and suppliers. You will utilize 3D and real-time engines like Unity to create complex user flows, animations, and transitions. The role requires building modular frameworks and integrating vehicle data sources to ensure high-fidelity simulations. Working closely with UX/UI designers, you will translate wireframes into functional prototypes and support user testing and feasibility analyses. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, Game Development, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in 3D or real-time development using Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar frameworks
- Experience in Android development, ideally within the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) environment
- Proven experience in creating UI interactions, animations, and transitions for complex user flows
- Experience working with prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or ProtoPie
- Professional background in collaborating with UX/UI designers to implement technical wireframes and visual concepts
