Job Summary

As a Software Quality Engineer, you will join a specialized seven-member QA team focused on ensuring the reliability of proprietary firmware and software solutions within the banking sector. Your primary focus will involve testing recycling modules—advanced hardware solutions for banking systems—directly in a laboratory environment using real hardware. This hands-on role requires a unique blend of manual and automated testing (roughly a 50/50 split), where you will validate firmware performance and analyze the complex interplay between software, mechanical components, and integrated sensors. Working closely with firmware and software development teams, you will define test requirements, manage regression testing, and implement test strategies to support high-stakes financial technology. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification such as completed vocational training.

Experience

  • Professional experience in software or firmware qualification, test management, or project coordination
  • Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation including test plans and reports
  • Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking software and firmware defects
  • Experience in developing and implementing test strategies for hardware-integrated products
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing environments
