Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and steering cross-institutional specialist groups within the IT security organization of the German Pension Insurance (DRV). You will be responsible for organizing nationwide technical conferences, managing cross-carrier information security risks, and leading management groups. Day-to-day tasks include drafting internal and external communication concepts, editing the DRV information security policy, and moderating complex project workshops. The position is unique for its high-level coordination responsibilities across the public sector, offering a blend of technical security oversight and strategic communication. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor, Diploma, or equivalent) ideally in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Economics/Administrative Sciences; or a completed commercial, administrative, or IT vocational training with several years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in an IT environment
  • Professional experience in committee work or specialist group management, preferably in the public sector
  • Experience in information security is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in moderating complex project and working groups
  • Experience in creating communication concepts and documentation

Additional

  • Must pass a security clearance check according to the Security Check Act (§ 9 SÜG). Willingness to travel within Germany (approximately 25%). Ability to work predominantly from home after the initial training period.
