This role involves managing the technical operations and platform governance of the Rhineland-Palatinate Education Portal (BiP), a state-wide digital ecosystem. As an IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating and implementing new technologies across network infrastructure, cloud services, and software to optimize platform performance. You will lead project planning for integrating new services and act as a central coordinator between system administrators, application support teams, and the Product Owner. The position focuses on high-level steering and technical coordination rather than hands-on administration. Successful candidates will need a strong background in IT service management (ITIL) and agile methodologies, alongside a broad understanding of IDAM, SSO, and cloud environments. - Technical experience with web and cloud environments, Linux server landscapes, and virtualization
