Job Summary

This role combines hands-on software development with technical project leadership within the Rhineland-Palatinate State Educational Institute, focusing on IT services for schools, particularly the eSchule24 portals and the integration of digital teaching materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include steering and shaping software projects, writing and evolving both frontend and backend code using modern technologies (like ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and managing relational databases. You will be involved in the entire software lifecycle, from requirements gathering and planning to testing (including automated procedures) and deployment. The ideal candidate has a background in Computer Science or related fields, practical web development experience, basic project management knowledge (agile or classic), and a passion for UX/UI to create user-friendly solutions.
