Job Summary
As a Metrology Technician at Almü Präzisionswerkzeug GmbH, a member of the Sandvik Group, you will play a critical role in the final inspection of high-precision cutting tools and clamping devices. Your daily responsibilities include performing geometric inspections using Walter Helicheck measuring machines, managing incoming and outgoing goods inspections, and handling the assembly and balancing of tools. You will be responsible for comprehensive documentation, error assessment, and implementing corrective measures. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in mechanical engineering who enjoys working with both tactile and optical measurement technology. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a mechanical field (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Tool Mechanic, or equivalent).
Experience
- Professional experience in applied metrology using tactile and optical methods
- Experience in the field of cutting tools and precision tooling is preferred
- Experience in quality assurance, documentation, and error assessment
- Proven experience in a mechanical or manufacturing environment
