Job Summary
As a Metrology Technician at Almü Präzisionswerkzeug GmbH, a member of the Sandvik Group, you will play a critical role in the final inspection of high-precision cutting tools and clamping devices. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing geometric inspections using Walter Helicheck measuring machines, managing incoming and outgoing goods, and handling tool assembly and balancing. You will be responsible for meticulous documentation, error assessment, and implementing corrective measures. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a mechanical field (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Toolmaker, or similar).
Experience
- Professional experience in applied metrology using both tactile and optical methods
- Experience in the field of cutting tools and machining solutions is preferred
- Proven track record in quality assurance and geometric inspection
- Experience working with ERP systems, specifically Navision Dynamics
- Background in a mechanical manufacturing environment
