Job Summary

This role involves joining Stromnetz Berlin to modernize the city's 36,000-kilometer power grid. As a Cable Installation Trainer in the Primary Technology department, you will lead both practical and theoretical training for technicians and apprentices, specifically focusing on 1-10kV cable installations and live-line work. Beyond instruction, you will be responsible for quality control of installations, investigating equipment failures, and evaluating new assembly techniques and materials. This position is unique as it combines technical field expertise with educational leadership, allowing you to shape the future of grid maintenance standards. You will actively update assembly instructions and pre-qualify new tools for the network. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the electrical trade (Elektroniker/Elektrohandwerk) and qualified as an Electrical Specialist (EFK). Instructor Aptitude Certification (AEVO) is desirable.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a qualified electrician (EFK)
  • Several years of practical experience in cable installation within the 1-10 kV range
  • Proven knowledge of assembly techniques for medium and low voltage networks
  • Experience in conducting technical training or willingness to obtain Instructor Aptitude (AEVO) certification
