Job Summary

As an Onsite IT Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of client hardware, including installation, configuration, and large-scale rollouts. Operating within a Windows-centric environment, your daily tasks involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing technical function tests, and providing direct user support. You will play a key role in network projects, handling the setup and expansion of network components while maintaining accurate asset data and ticket documentation. This position is particularly attractive as it supports a high-profile client (DLR) through one of Europe's leading IT service providers. The role offers excellent stability with a 40-hour work week, up to 30 days of vacation, and a clear path toward permanent employment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience with common Windows client operating systems
  • Practical experience handling network components is preferred
  • Experience in user support and service request processing
  • Familiarity with MS Server and Linux environments (Ubuntu)
  • Experience in hardware rollouts and technical functional testing

  • Valid driver's license (Class B/PKW) required for use of pool vehicle. Location-based role supporting the DLR (German Aerospace Center).
