Job Summary

As an IT Support Specialist, you will join an internal IT department of 25 professionals serving the SCHULZ Group's 1,100 employees across more than 10 locations. Operating out of the Visbek headquarters, you will serve as the primary point of contact for technical challenges within the Helpdesk team. Your daily activities involve the independent analysis and resolution of 1st and 2nd level service requests focusing on clients, applications, and peripheral devices. You will be responsible for documenting and prioritizing tickets in the OTRS system, escalating complex issues to 3rd-party support or internal specialized teams when necessary. Additionally, you will handle the installation, maintenance, and configuration of internal hardware and software. Required Skills

Education

Vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a comparable qualification/relevant practical experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT support or system integration
  • Experience in handling internal service requests and fault reports
  • Practical experience with Windows clients and Active Directory
  • Experience in documenting and prioritizing tasks within a ticketing system
  • Proven track record in customer-oriented technical service
