Job Summary

As a (Senior) Process Manager for Tax-IT and ITSM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of public administration. Your daily responsibilities include the professional design, implementation, and continuous development of ITIL processes specifically for tax-related software products. You will analyze and optimize existing products to ensure high quality, efficiency, and economic viability. A significant portion of the role involves modeling and documenting business and IT processes using BPMN, while also advising project teams and external partners on process optimization. This position is unique as it offers the opportunity to work for one of Germany's largest state-owned IT companies, ensuring digital sovereignty and data protection for the state and its citizens. The role is highly flexible, offering up to 80% remote work, flexible hours between 5 AM and 10 PM, and extensive support for professional development within a secure, public-sector environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Fachhochschule) in Computer Science, Public Administration, or a comparable field; alternatively, a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the introduction, coordination, and application of ITIL processes
  • Extensive experience in process modeling, specifically using BPMN
  • Proven track record in using ITSM tools and managing Incident, Change, and Problem management
  • Experience collaborating with customers, project teams, and external service providers
  • Basic experience in project management
