Job Summary

This role within the City of Stuttgart's Department of Gardens, Cemeteries, and Forests focuses on the ecological preservation and safety of approximately 185,000 urban trees. As a specialist, you will be responsible for the conceptual development of species protection during traffic safety measures and conducting specialized species protection assessments (SAP 1). Your day-to-day work involves evaluating the structural integrity of ecologically significant trees, coordinating with various municipal authorities, and managing external consultants. You will also oversee the planning, awarding, and acceptance of large-scale tree maintenance contracts.
