As a Clinical Information Systems (CIS) Application Specialist at Landeskrankenhaus (AöR), you will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of one of Rhineland-Palatinate's largest healthcare providers. Your daily responsibilities include the configuration, customizing, and support of the Nexus/KIS system and its integrated subsystems. You will act as a vital link between clinical staff and IT, designing application interfaces, monitoring existing data flows, and leading digitalization projects to optimize patient care processes. This role involves high-level 3rd-level support and conducting user training sessions. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Information Technology, or vocational training as a Medical/Specialist Informatician, or a comparable professional qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in application management, preferably within clinical information systems
  • Proven experience in leading IT projects within the medical or healthcare sector
  • Professional experience with clinical workflows, ideally in psychiatric or neurological facilities
  • Experience in configuring and customizing integrated sub-systems and medical device interfaces

  • This is a parental leave replacement for 12 months with a possible extension. The position is available in full-time (38.5 hours/week) or part-time. Deployment at other locations may be possible.
