Job Summary

As a Vocational Trainer at the Berlin Chamber of Skilled Crafts (Handwerkskammer Berlin), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of journeymen and master craftspeople. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting both theoretical and practical instruction for apprentices and continuing education participants. You will be responsible for preparing teaching materials, developing new training concepts, and ensuring that the technical equipment and tools for the department are maintained. Required Skills

Education

Master Craftsman (Meister), State-certified Technician, or Degree in Electrical Engineering; Instructor Aptitude Certification (AEVO) required (can be obtained upon hiring).

Experience

  • Proven professional expertise as a Journeyman, Master Craftsman, Technician, or Engineer in Electrical Engineering
  • Practical experience within the skilled trades (Handwerk) is highly preferred
  • Professional experience as a lecturer, trainer, or instructor is ideal
  • Experience in mentoring or training youth and young adults

Additional
