Job Summary
This is a leadership role within the Municipal Development department of Wiefelstede, where you will lead a team of two employees while managing the entire lifecycle of civil engineering projects. Your daily responsibilities include the planning, construction management, and maintenance of municipal infrastructure such as roads and public spaces. You will act as the primary representative for the client, coordinating with external planning offices and construction companies. A key part of the role involves preparing technical documents for political committees and managing tenders and billing according to HOAI and public procurement standards. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Civil Engineering, Construction Project Management, or Industrial Engineering with a focus on civil engineering; or State-certified Technician in Civil Engineering; or Master Road Builder/Foreman currently pursuing technician qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering or road construction
- Experience in managing construction projects through all HOAI performance phases
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience required for candidates with Master Road Builder or Foreman qualifications
- Leadership experience is preferred
- Experience in working with political committees and external service providers is beneficial

- Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to use private vehicle for business purposes is required; location-specific knowledge of the Wiefelstede area is considered an advantage.
