Job Summary

As an Electrical Project Engineer at K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH in Philippsthal, you will spearhead the electrical planning and implementation of sophisticated surface-level process plants. Your daily responsibilities include leading projects or sub-projects focused on medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage main distributions, and motor control center (MCC) technology. You will be responsible for the planning and tendering of technical building equipment, specifically lightning protection and equipotential bonding, while coordinating commissioning and developing technical concepts for energy technology. This role offers significant flexibility with options for full-time or part-time work and a hybrid home-office model. It is a unique opportunity to work on large-scale industrial infrastructure while benefiting from a structured, team-oriented environment, though candidates should note the initial two-year fixed-term contract starting in June 2026.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in comparable fields of electrical project engineering is preferred
  • Experience in project management or sub-project management for electrical planning
  • Experience in the planning and execution of switchgear and transformer systems
  • Professional experience in commissioning coordination and technical concept development
