As a Cable Routing Specialist at Schmitt Engineering, you will play a critical role in the technical planning and documentation of cable pathways using 2D routing software. Your daily responsibilities will involve creating and maintaining complex cable routes while strictly adhering to technical constraints such as bending radii, accessibility, and the separation of voltage or functional zones. You will evaluate various cable types based on cross-sections and flexibility to optimize routing decisions. This position requires close collaboration with electrical engineering teams, project management, and mechanical departments to ensure seamless integration and compliance with safety standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification.

  • Proven track record of working with specialized cable routing software tools
