Job Summary
This role involves working within the Munich District Administration (Landratsamt München) to enforce immission control, waste law, and contaminated site regulations. As an Environmental Technology Specialist, you will play a key role in licensing procedures under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and conduct regular monitoring of industrial and commercial facilities. Your daily responsibilities include providing expert opinions on noise protection, air quality, waste management, and plant safety, as well as performing noise measurements. Required Skills
Education
University degree (DQR Level 6) in Environmental Engineering, Physical Technology, Process Engineering (with focus on Environmental Tech), or Chemistry; alternatively, a certified Technician in the environmental field with extensive experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in environmental technology, process engineering, or technical environmental protection
- Proven experience in the application and interpretation of environmental laws and legal texts
- Experience in conducting technical measurements, specifically noise level monitoring
- Long-term relevant professional experience required if applying as a certified technician without an engineering degree
