Job Summary

As the lead Electrical Engineer for a new substation construction project, you will play a pivotal role in shaping future-oriented infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the overall planning, construction, and technical implementation of substation projects, with a specific focus on primary and secondary technology, as well as protection and control systems. Beyond technical execution, you will hold disciplinary and technical leadership over an interdisciplinary team, ensuring that all quality, safety, and scheduling targets are met. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in energy technology, plant construction, high-voltage technology, or comparable infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience in the construction or expansion of substations, ideally within medium or high-voltage environments
  • Experience in technical and disciplinary leadership of project-related teams
  • Experience in coordinating specialist departments, external service providers, and authorities
