Job Summary

As the responsible engineer for the construction of a new substation, you will play a central role in a forward-looking infrastructure project. Your daily responsibilities include the overall management of planning, construction, and technical implementation, specifically focusing on primary and secondary technology, as well as protection and control systems. Beyond technical execution, you will actively shape project and organizational structures and lead an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality, safety, and deadline targets are met. This position is particularly attractive due to the high degree of creative freedom it offers, allowing you to influence processes and technical decisions in a growth-oriented environment. You will coordinate with internal departments, external service providers, and authorities, while overseeing commissioning and quality assurance measures for critical energy supply and grid expansion projects.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in energy technology, plant construction, high-voltage technology, or comparable infrastructure projects
  • Sound knowledge in the construction or expansion of substations, ideally in medium or high voltage
  • Experience in the technical and disciplinary leadership of project-based teams
  • Proven experience in building and developing project structures, processes, and documentation systems
