Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sensor technology and military defense in Ulm. As a System Engineer within a multidisciplinary team of physicists, mathematicians, and electrical engineers, you will guide novel radar systems from initial concept to functional prototype. Your day-to-day activities involve developing and analyzing radar networks for unmanned aviation, designing complex radar architectures, and creating innovative signal processing algorithms. You will work on disruptive technologies such as cognitive radars, AI-supported signal processing, and quantum technology for drones and air taxis. The position is highly collaborative, involving partnerships with prestigious research institutions like DLR and FHR, as well as representation of findings at international conferences. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification (minimum Bachelor's level).

Experience
