Job Summary

This role involves supporting the production compliance and safety culture for a leading international life sciences company in Penzberg. As an HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining critical operational documents, including risk assessments, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety instructions. You will play a key role in monitoring operational status through digital dashboards, conducting site inspections, and ensuring adherence to legal regulations such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act. A significant portion of the role focuses on digital transformation, migrating legacy data into modern software solutions like SAP and Monday.com. This position is ideal for motivated professionals or recent graduates with a background in organic chemistry who enjoy working in an agile, matrix environment. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Natural Sciences (specialization in Organic Chemistry) or a qualifying vocational degree with relevant professional experience. A PhD is considered a plus.

  • Professional experience in a regulated environment or chemical/pharmaceutical industry (internships and shadowing accepted)
  • Experience in meticulous documentation practices and manufacturing instructions
  • Initial experience in digital data migration and IT-driven workflows
  • Experience in identifying potential hazards and evaluating operational risks
  • Experience in matrix communication and agile project environments
