Job Summary
As an FPGA Hardware Developer, you will be responsible for the conception and development of complex FPGA architectures used in radio monitoring and localization applications. Your daily tasks involve designing, implementing, and maintaining FPGA/VHDL modules, including simulation, verification, and synthesis. You will play a critical role in evaluating circuit diagrams with a focus on FPGA integration, clock design, and high-speed interfaces. This position serves as a technical point of contact for FPGA topics, requiring close collaboration with hardware, software, and firmware teams to define hardware/software interfaces and ensure compliance with MIL standards. The role is based in Teisnach and offers a hybrid work model after the initial onboarding phase. It is particularly attractive for professionals seeking to work on high-tech communication systems within a structured, team-oriented environment, offering a competitive salary range of €65,000 to €85,000 per year.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Communication or Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in FPGA development and digital hardware design
- Extensive experience with VHDL implementation and simulation
- Practical experience with AMD/Xilinx FPGA architectures
- Experience in defining and documenting hardware/software interfaces
- Experience with broadband receivers, RF frontends, or communication systems is advantageous

- The role is located in Teisnach (Landkreis Regen). It is a full-time position (40 hours/week) initially under a labor leasing (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung) framework with hybrid/home office options available after onboarding.
