Job Summary

As an IT Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the IT infrastructure for a major public sector client (ITZBund) through one of Europe's leading IT service providers. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing 1st and 2nd level technical support, managing support tickets, and performing the installation and configuration of client hardware. You will be responsible for SCCM imaging, managing users and passwords within Active Directory, and maintaining asset databases. Additionally, you will handle physical on-site tasks such as cabling and setting up workstation equipment. This role is ideal for a solution-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of software administration and hands-on hardware support. The position offers a stable 40-hour work week in a modern environment with high chances of permanent placement, a company vehicle for business use, and up to 30 days of vacation, making it an excellent opportunity for career growth within a large-scale IT service environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronician (IT Systemelektroniker), or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in user and password administration within Active Directory
  • Practical experience in operating system installation and configuration
  • Experience in 1st and 2nd level support and ticket processing
  • Experience with hardware setup, dismantling, and cabling at customer sites

Languages

German (Fluent)

  • Valid driver's license required (company car provided for business use). Must be willing to work full-time (40 hours/week) in a day-shift model.
