Job Summary

As an AI Governance Architect at SAP, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the technical infrastructure for SAP's internal AI Governance Platform. This hands-on role involves building automated governance workflows, developing monitoring systems, and creating technical controls to ensure compliance with the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, and NIST RMF. You will work across the full AI lifecycle, architecting APIs, developing risk assessment tools, and integrating governance capabilities directly into MLOps pipelines. The position is unique as it bridges the gap between high-level regulatory compliance and deep technical software engineering, making governance a seamless part of the development process. You will collaborate with AI Engineers and compliance specialists to build evidence collection mechanisms and audit trails that maintain SAP's leadership in responsible Enterprise AI.
