As a Testing Assistant for Control and Safety Technology at DB InfraGO AG in Duisburg, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of Europe's largest rail network. Your daily responsibilities involve supporting expert inspectors during partial and final acceptance tests of signaling and safety systems. You will perform hands-on work on complex railway systems, verify that installed components match technical plans and approvals, and prepare detailed inspection reports and expert opinions. This role is highly collaborative, requiring coordination with various technical departments and participation in regional projects and training initiatives. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an electrotechnical field (e.g., Electrician, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician) or a qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician.
Experience
- Completed vocational training in the electrotechnical field (e.g., Electrician, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician) or qualification as a Master Craftsman/Technician
- Several years of professional experience in the maintenance of control and safety technology is preferred
- Experience as a switch and signal mechanic is an advantage
- Proven experience in independent work and organizational coordination
- Experience working in environments with high safety requirements

- Must pass a medical fitness examination for operational safety; willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays at construction sites; location based in Duisburg.
