Job Summary

This role is based at the Institute of Geography within the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), focusing on addressing global climate and environmental crises. As an Environmental Protection Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting transdisciplinary research projects and sustainable transformation. Your day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and documenting stakeholder workshops, performing literature research, and assisting with project reporting and data coding. You will also manage public relations related to these workshops. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in environmental protection, social sciences, or office management who possess a solid understanding of physical-geographical dynamics. The role offers an attractive public service contract (TV-L) with 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours, and the possibility of remote work after an initial orientation phase. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Environmental Protection Technical Assistant, Office Management Assistant, or a comparable qualification in Social Sciences, Cultural Geography, Environmental Protection, or Sustainable Development.
