Job Summary
This leadership role involves managing the Security Control Center at the Vitos Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry in Hadamar, a specialized facility with 198 beds for patients in the legal penal system. As the Head of Security Operations, you will be responsible for the disciplinary leadership of staff and the technical organization of all administrative processes within the center. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing preventive security measures and safety concepts, as well as analyzing security-relevant incidents in collaboration with clinic management. The position is unique for its interdisciplinary nature, welcoming candidates from technical, administrative, or psychiatric nursing backgrounds who have a strong interest in security technology. Required Skills
Education
Technical vocational training (Master Craftsman/Meister or State-Certified Technician), degree in Administration, or professional qualification in Nursing with forensic experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in a technical field, administration, or forensic psychiatric nursing
- Experience in the security industry is highly valued (career changers welcome)
- Leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience or willingness to train in specialized security technology systems
