This role involves working for a global biologics manufacturer with over 20,000 employees, focusing on critical quality control within pharmaceutical production environments. As an Environmental Monitoring Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the daily collection of environmental samples from cleanrooms and laboratory equipment, including the sampling of microorganisms and liquid media such as Water for Injection (WFI) and pure steam. You will play a vital role in maintaining compliance by creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Environmental Monitoring Plans (AMPs). Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Technical Assistant (BTA/CTA), Biology Laboratory Technician, or a Bachelor/Master's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Practical experience in microbiology or environmental monitoring
  • Experience in creating and maintaining QC documents such as SOPs and monitoring plans
  • Experience working in a GMP-compliant environment
