Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position at the Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg involves joining the '(Bio) Medical Data Science' junior research group within the Medical Faculty. As a key member of the Data Integration Center (DIZ), you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of central research and collaboration platforms such as Confluence, eLabFTW, and REDCap. You will establish FAIR-compliant analysis environments to support scientists and students, design ETL processes to integrate diverse research databases, and provide strategic consultancy for large-scale research projects (GRKs/SFBs). This role is ideal for those who enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration between medicine and IT. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in a STEM field (Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biology, Physics, Medicine, or equivalent).

Experience

  • At least 3 years of practical professional experience
  • Professional experience in supporting research and collaboration platforms
  • Experience in an interdisciplinary environment (medical, technical, and administrative)
  • Scientific research experience is preferred
  • Experience with data protection laws and procurement processes is preferred
