Job Summary

This role involves serving as a technical specialist within the Data Protection Office for the Federal Ministry of Defence's business area, specifically supporting the Bundeswehr Support Command in Koblenz. You will be responsible for ensuring data processing and digitalization efforts comply with the GDPR and Federal Data Protection Act. Day-to-day tasks include drafting technical statements on data protection, advising staff on technical and organizational measures (TOMs), and handling data subject inquiries, particularly within the Central Medical Service. This position is unique as it offers the path to becoming a German civil servant (Beamter) with a competitive salary under the federal pay scale (A12/E10). Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Computer Science or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Experience in the field of medical technology or information security regulations within the Bundeswehr is desired
  • Experience working within a federal authority or the Ministry of Defence business area is preferred
  • Experience in advising and instructing employees on technical security measures

Additional
