Job Summary
The Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Department of Student Affairs. In this role, you will be responsible for the independent management and further development of IT-supported processes within the Enrollment Office, specifically focusing on campus management software (HIS e.G.) and external web applications such as Hochschulstart and uni-assist. Your day-to-day tasks will include processing admission and enrollment applications, monitoring central allocation procedures, and generating statistical reports. You will act as a key liaison between internal university departments and external partners. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in public administration who enjoys optimizing digital workflows. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor's from a university or applied sciences university, preferably in Public Administration) OR completed vocational training as a Management Assistant in Public Administration (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r).
Experience
- 1+ years of professional experience in university or public administration with a university degree
- 3+ years of professional experience in university or public administration with a vocational administrative qualification
- Professional experience in the application or development of IT-supported administrative processes
- Experience with project-based work environments
- Proven experience in processing student admissions and enrollment applications
Languages
Additional
- Must be able to provide a Statement of Comparability for foreign degrees via ZAB if applicable. Position is based in Halle (Saale). Work permit for Germany required.
