Job Summary
This role involves the planning, procurement, and ongoing development of conference and media technology systems for the German Bundestag. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from conducting market analyses and creating technical specifications to overseeing the installation and final acceptance of audiovisual systems. A significant portion of the role focuses on coordinating the operation of event technology, including staff planning for technicians and ensuring maintenance schedules are met. You will also act as a technical consultant for construction projects, handling complex correspondence and ensuring compliance with public procurement laws. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Media Technology, Information Technology, Event Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in media, information, or electrical engineering
- Experience in technical planning and procurement of audiovisual systems
- Experience in coordinating technical staff and maintenance operations
- Experience with public procurement procedures and contract law
- Experience in construction project coordination and building regulations
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience required for specific salary grouping (E 12)
