Job Summary
This role involves the operation and monitoring of the main and energy control centers for the German Bundestag. As a Building Services Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring plant availability, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical advice to building users. A significant portion of the role focuses on energy optimization, where you will analyze consumption data and implement efficiency measures. Additionally, you will handle the programming and parameterization of DDC/PLC systems and manage external service providers. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Supply Engineering; or equivalent vocational training with extensive relevant experience and instructor aptitude (AEVO).
Experience
- Professional experience in the commissioning, operation, and development of automation and building control systems
- Experience in energy management and energy optimization processes
- Experience with DDC/PLC systems and automation technology from leading manufacturers
- Proven experience in technical building services including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and security technology
- Experience in coordinating internal and external service providers and contract management

- Must be willing to undergo a security clearance check according to the Security Check Act (SÜG). Willingness to work in a two-shift system, full continuous shift system as needed, and on-call duty. Must be available for overtime, weekend, and holiday work. Role involves acting as the 'Responsible Person' under the Federal Mining Act (BBergG) for heat storage.
